Update: Sep 30, 2009
This is a small but important update: you can now send me feedback from any page on this site.
Use the "Report here" link under the "Site Problems?" section on the left.
Update: Sep 28, 2009
I've now enabled sending feedback in your own language. This is an experimental feature and so may not work always.
Currently, only Tamil and Hindi are currently supported, but I expect to be abel to support more languages soon.
To use this feature, select the language of your choice, and start typing (the subject of your message and the message
itself). Go ahead, try it out!
Update: Sep 26, 2009
Phew! I've now moved to a different web host. My previous host, though promising ad-free service, had insisted on
insidiously inserting some DIVs with ads into my pages, causing those annoying popups that you've probably come across.
I fought the good fight and through some Javascript, got rid of them, but I didn't want to keep it up as it took a lot
of my time away from what I'd set out to do when I started updating this website.
My new web host is Zymic, and I'll let you know what I think of their
service over the coming weeks and months.
Update: Sep 10, 2009
Damn! Just when I thought the problems on my site were resolved, up comes another!
Those of you who use Internet Explorer version 7, my apologies to you - I've just come to know that the site's layout
looks screwed up on your favourite browser. While I'll try and sort this out, I'd like to point out that IE 7's
CSS support, or the lack of it, is notorious and
I've talked about it earlier.
So, while I sort this out, why don't you do yourself a favour and get the latest and greatest version of my
favourite browser, Opera 10?
Or, if you steadfastly refuse to switch, at least upgrade to the
latest version of Internet Explorer.
Note: Sep 8, 2009
Hooray! The popup problem is finally under control. I had to resort to some JS trickery to weed out those
insidious ads, but it was worth the effort. But wait, do you still see them? Are you sure you've
cleared your browser's cache? If you have, and you're still seeing them,
please drop me a line.
Note: Sep 4, 2009
I've been made aware that there are ad popup windows opening left, right and center
on my website. Unfortunately, I've found out that this is the policy of my webhost
for all free hosting accounts. Even as I'm trying to find out ways to circumvent this
problem, I request you to bear with this nuisance.

Two years after I put up this website,
I've finally gotten around to getting rid of a lot of junk, and making it a bit cleaner
and more dynamic (I've moved over to PHP).
The basic site layout was originally from one of the Google Page Creator templates.
If you've used it yourself, you'll probably know that the CSS in those templates was a whole lot heavier
than it needed to be. Uglier too. I busied myself for a couple of days trying to retain the same layout while
reworking the CSS from scratch. And now, finally, it's done, with a slightly better look (I hope)!
Feel free to have a look around let me know what you think of this site.
Hello, and welcome to my first serious attempt at having a non-trivial web presence.
Over the next few days, months actually, since I intend to be serious about it this time,
I'll try and make this page dynamic. Or at the very least, update it frequently.
What frequent updates mean, I can't say at the moment, since I haven't the foggiest
idea myself ;-), but I am hoping that it'd be something that will keep your interest. To an extent, anyway :-)
Anyway, since you're here, you might be interested in reading a few of my thoughts.
The following is a glimpse of my blog, consisting of my most recent posts (made possible with
the Google AJAX API); see if you resonate with some of my thoughts. If you do, you are probably someone who
thinks alike. There aren't too many such people, my past experience tells me, so
you are welcome to share your thoughts in the comments section of the posts :-)

weblog these days; it's just me!)
